Free online time clock — no sign-up
Tap to clock in, tap again to clock out.
TickTappy adds up your day and your week as you go. Open it in your browser or on your phone and start; there is no account or email to set up first.
Make a tag for what you are working on, such as Work or Client A. Tap the tag to clock in and tap it again to clock out. The timer keeps running while you do something else, and each tag keeps its own total.
Started late, or forgot to tap? Long-press the running tag and set the time you really began. The clock catches up to that time instead of making you start over.
Every clock-in and clock-out is kept, with a total for the day and for the week. If a form wants decimal hours rather than hours and minutes, turn 7:45 into 7.75 with the
decimal hours converter. To check a whole week by hand first, the
timesheet calculator does that.
There is no account to make. Your hours are stored on your own device, not on our servers, and nobody can see them. If you want the same hours on your phone and your laptop, you can switch on optional sync; if you do not, nothing leaves the device.
Is the online time clock free?
Yes. Clocking in and out, the daily and weekly totals and the offline use are all free, on the web and in the iPhone app. The only paid part is optional cloud sync and backup (Premium, $9.99 a year or $29.99 once).
Do I need an account to clock in?
No. There is no sign-up, no email and no password. Open the page, make a tag, tap it to clock in. An account only exists if you later choose to sync your hours between devices.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Your hours are saved on your own device, so clocking in and out keeps working without a connection. Once the page has loaded, losing the signal does not lose a clock-in.
Can I fix a clock-in or clock-out I forgot?
Yes. Long-press a running tag to move its start time to when you really started. A finished entry can be edited too, so a missed clock-out is a few taps to correct rather than a reason to start the day over.
Can I use it on iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch?
Yes. TickTappy runs in any browser, as an app on iPhone, iPad and Mac from the App Store, and as an Apple Watch app with widgets, all free. Android is not on Google Play yet, but the web version works in an Android browser.
